Nixon Kyle Hunt

He's here! Born at 7:39am in Newport Beach, CA. 8 lbs. 11 oz, 21 inches long. At around 6 this morning Trisha stopped progressing (dialation stopped and contractions slowed) and the baby showed signs of stress (slowed heart-rate, lower oxygen levels), so Dr. Ricci made the decision to take him via c-section.

I think he looks EXACTLY like his brother, Trisha thinks he looks like me.....we'll let you decide for yourself.

We're in recovery now (beautiful view), waiting for a room upstairs (no view). We're hungy and tired, but are VERY excited to add a Power Forward to our team!

Can't wait for you all to meet our boy!

Trisha,
So sorry you had to have a c-section. I'm convinced they are the greatest, but I'm sure I wouldn't think that after hours of labor. He is adorable. Congratulations on your newest addition!

Power forward? If he has your basketball playing skills he'll be giving Gatorade to the power forward.

Contratulations!

So happy for you both! I was up all night following the twitter updates (seriously, i had my phone next to the bed and every time emrys woke up coughing i would check it). Can't wait to meet him! Let me know what I can do for you and when. You're going to have to accept help recovering from a c-section!
