We woke up at 5am
Got to the surgi-center at 6
Spoke with anesthesiologist
Waited for surgeon who didn't show up until 5 minutes past scheduled surgery time (730). Guess they have their own schedules.
Nurse carried Nixon back into the operating room
Surgeon came out of OR 10 minutes later with some post op instructions
5 minutes later the anesthesiologist came out to get me for a "mother's consult."
I walked into the recovery room to see Nixon screaming his head off with a blood pressure cuff, EKG leads, and pox on, and the monitor beeping like crazy.
He was trying to nurse from a nurse (hope her scrubs were clean).
Fed the baby
Got some good vital signs after he had a full belly
Got discharged
Easiest surgery ever
Pre-op. I thought he looked so snuggly in his hospital gown, lion in tow
Post op, still able to suck on his thumb. He's forgotten about the whole thing already.

Oh I'm so happy it was easier than expected. I hope Blake's is easier than I'm expecting?!
I'm glad all went well...and he is still sucking his thumb!!!--he's pretty dang CUTE!!!
