Weekend recap

Nothing too exciting happened this week. Started out with a visit to the pediatrician for Logan's 10 month visit, followed by a very hot and very crowded day (or hour which is all we could stand) at Disneyland. Then we found out we were moving and so after one failed attempt of finding boxes in the alley behind 2nd street, I loaded up Logan in his stroller in the blazing heat and started looking for them again (I have a one track mind!). I found so many boxes and dragged them down the alleys and streets of Belmont shore......pretty ghetto but now I am more calm about this move.

I found about 30 boxes and was sweating my butt off!

Other than that nothing much exciting in the Hunt household, just trying to keep cool and so we took a little bike ride down to the shore today. Logan loves the water even though it is so cold.....and I love him so I go in the water even though I hate the cold water. Kyle said he didn't think I would want to post a picture of me in the water so Logan will have to do!

Me and my little guppy My two squinty boys....and I thought Logan's eyes were mine.

Oh I almost forgot, I also went to a baby shower for one of my many cute prego friends. I think there is a total of three pregnant in the picture....sorry you guys have to suffer in this heat!

Boxes

I can't believe it but we are finally moving!!! If anyone knows where I can get boxes for free or cheap let me know. I've tried grocery stores, craigslist, costco...and even walking in the alley behind the stores on 2nd street. Thanks for any advice!!

1/4 Korean

On Saturday we went to a wedding reception for one of Kyle's coworkers who married a Korean girl.
Here is my white boy and 1/4 Korean and 3/4 white baby
Wounds from his first week of walking. He has a bump on his head, rugburn on his forehead, and a dent in his chin from falling on the corner of my little keyboard......I promise I keep a good eye on him but those falls happen fast!

There was a Korean band at the wedding, that was more Korean than I have experienced my whole life, but Logan is being introduced to his 1/4 early on.And as you can see by Logan's face he didn't have a clue what was going on, I think the only true Korean thing he likes is his grandma.

I love dad

Happy Father's day! Today is Kyle's first official Father's day. I decided that making breakfast for him was way too much work and too early (since church starts at 9am) so last night we picked up some Krispy Creme donuts, which made him pretty happy. I made a letter/sign (from Logan) with candy in place of some words, and found a book from the Ensign book store that provides 201 questions about "Dad" and plenty of space to answer. Kyle is thrilled that he basically got a journal! He is also going to get a new tent as his main father's day present, fitting since he was just called today to be the young men's president in our ward. Lucky him! Other than that he just gets a yummy Sunday dinner (tacos) and cookie salad, which he requested. Here a few pictures of Logan's great dad!!

Oh and most importantly he doesn't have to change any diapers today!

Game Over!

Party at the Rosenlofs

Monday was Matthew H's birthday and his wife threw a cute baseball themed party at the Rosenlofs. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the birthday boy, but I do have a few of my little boy.

The Rosenlofs have so many fun toys, Logan loved this bike.
....As did the other little kids. And Logan's other favorite "toy", Lexie the dog
sorry no pictures of the adults!

Look who's walking now

Last week Logan started taking a few steps on his own and Saturday he was able to make it across the room. Of course he falls alot and I think he still prefers to crawl.

I hope they call me on a mission

I got Logan's 8 month pictures taken in his white shirt and tie. Kyle and I think he looks like a missionary.........I don't want to think about him going on a mission, it makes me sad.I'm not big on using props, but Logan would not smile at all so the photographer gave him a wooden L to play with, it got a little smile out of him, but what he really loved is when she let him play with her camera (the session pretty much ended after that since he wouldn't give up the camera)

I think he lost his mind!

A new candy store opened down the street from our house about a month ago, They sell all sorts of candy, have Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory playing continuously, and since it's opening you'd think we were trying to find a golden ticket with how many times we have
stopped by the store. I'm not really a huge fan of the store, but my husband has developed a new love of caramel creme's and cow's tails. So what does Kyle decide to do? Order candy online from Goetze's........over 60lbs. of it!!!!

Caramel Creme's anyone?

PG-13

On Friday I babysat Collin for a little bit. Logan and Collin were playing nicely so I took advantage of the opportunity to wash the dishes without Logan pulling at my legs. Then I noticed it was a little too quiet and when I peeked around the corner I saw Logan pushing Collin in a little car and this........... And lots of it!!!!!

The little smoochers....pretending nothing happened
