I'm not loving this new bed thing we have going on.
Naps have only been lasting 1 hour.
I have to sit in his room with him or lay with him for him to stay in bed.
My house is a disaster because he isn't taking good naps so I have no time to get stuff done.
Last night he didn't go to be until after 10:30.
I've begged Kyle to put up the crib again......he refuses.
I need the cage back!!!!

You'll get through it! He's been sleeping in a crib for 2 1/2 years...give it some time.
I swear I'm going to leave Brighton in hers until she's 5. But I agree with Kendall... it'll probably just take some time :(
Girl. I feel your pain. I just went through that with Jocelynn. I had to get a gate (the tallest one) and luckily she was too scared to crawl over it. She cried for 30-40 minutes at the gate but now goes right to bed. Good luck!
I LOOOOOVVVEEEE the cage! I use it for everything. I'm sorry for your loss my friend! I'm sure it will get better though.
friend, if your husband won't put the crib back together then go on craigslist and buy a new put together bed. I'll help you pick it up and we'll load it on top of my van, then bring it home and you'll have your sanity back.
I can remember locking Kate in her room when she started climbing out of her crib. She would make a huge mess, but it was worth it for me to have some time alone! Just be consistent about putting him back in his bed, over and over again, or get a lock on the door so he can't get out!
ugh.
Change can be SOOOO hard. Hang in there mamma! Do you have locks on your doors?
