The past two weeks!

Kyle has been giving me grief about not giving more frequent updates.....sorry nothing too exciting is going on in the Hunt household. My days are filled with 100% Logan. I think I can count on both hands the hours I've spent away from him these past 9 1/2 months.

Logan has picked up on a few bad little habits like......Pulling toilet paper off the roll Pulling garbage out of the trash
and pulling pots and pans out of the cupboards!

We've also had some fun playdates..... at Disneyland

Logan met one of my favorite animals.....the Shark. The aquarium of the pacific (shark encounter) is open on Friday nights for free!

He got to splash in the fishy water and pet some little sharks and sting rays with his buddy Harrison.
He met up with his friend Collin on the pier.
And I met up with my friends!
And I went to a baby shower for Autumn and Tav Rosenlof (forgot to get a picture of Tav).
Megan and I made this diaper cake and we are pretty proud of it!!!I guess Kyle snapped this picture of me and Logan this morning. I don't really let Logan sleep with me unless it is after 5am (and then I'm just too tired to put him back in his crib). Give me a little space Logan!!!!!

9 months!

Today Logan is 9 months old! This past week I have been going through the thousands of pictures I have on the computer so that I can develop some. I've forgotten so many of the things...it's a good thing I have pictures to remind me. Here are a few of the things I was reminded of looking back at my pictures. The day he was born!
His hair loss.....yuck I used to be able to lay him anywhere and he would sleep, not anymore!
How he used to pee and poop everywhere.....yuck, yuck!!!
How cute he is with a hat onI can't wait to see what the next 9 months bring

No babies

Yesterday Megan and I went to Burke Williams and enjoyed an evening of pampering. Six hours without husbands and babies! We were too focused on relaxing and didn't take any pictures but snapped one in the parking lot while we were eating our Frosted cupcakes. It was my first time away from Logan for that long, and I have to admit as crazy as it sounds I had tears in my eyes while I was driving to pick up Megan. Talk about separation anxiety! Logan survived with his dad though, and decided to help his dad out and wait until I was home to have a poopy diaper.
However, he woke up with a temperature this morning and hasn't been feeling good all day. Maybe he's faking it so I won't leave him again!

Sewing time

I've had so many sewing projects that I have wanted to get done, but with a little one crawling around wanting continuous attention I haven't been very quick at getting things accomplished. So I figured with it being my "birthday week" I could use that as an excuse anytime Kyle was home to sew without Logan at my feet. Here are the projects I was able to finish!
For a long time I have been wanting new bedding but have never found anything I really like. So my friend Megan always gives me cute ideas and she just happened to have have these sheets from Urban Outfitters that she was going to return. I bought them from her and made a Duvet cover and five pillowcases out of the two sheets. I love the material! Megan also told me that I should cover my own buttons which turned out to be really easy and inexpensive. Megan told me how much she loved the material and was sad to give it up, so I had just enough material to make her a bag....I hope she really loved the material as much as she said!
And she made me this cute apron for my birthday!

Last but not least, I made this cute dress today while Logan took a nap. I had some extra material lying around and I think it came out so cute. The pattern says it is for a newborn. If any of you want it let me know and it's yours since I don't expect to be using it. I think it would make a cute summer dress!

Disneyland

Yesterday Logan and I met up with some friends at Disneyland, here are a few pictures from the day.

We all thought the waterfall was pretty!

Logan met Mickey mouse for the first time, but wasn't too impressedThese two fell asleep in the time that it took to walk from the Buzz light year ride to the storybook ride. Last ride of the day was the Storybook ride. Logan wanted in the water the whole time so I don't think I will be going back on that ride. There must have been something pretty cool up ahead since both of the kids look really focused.

It was a pretty good day at Disneyland......the only thing that would have made it better is if we ran into someone from the dream team, maybe next time.

My sister-in-law had this little quiz on her blog and since it fits with the Disney theme I thought I would post it.

Which Disney princess are you?

You Are Cinderella!

Dignified and hard working. With a gentle and soft-spoken manner you have something many people don't. Patience. Even through the moments of heartbreak you're still able to hold onto all of your hopes and dreams. Bide your time; your dream will come true.
